Today I’m doing a review on the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. Find out what I have liked about this product and see if it will work for you as well.
There are a few sizes offered in the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum and the one that I purchased and have in this review is the .85 fluid ounce size. This is currently the smallest size offered and is great for traveling.
This product can be used on all hair types but is best suited for those who have naturally frizzy hair or frizzy hair after blow drying. I have colored curly hair and this product works wonders for me because it makes my hair more manageable. It also helps speed up the blow drying process while smoothing and conditioning hair and giving it a beautiful shine.
When I do not use PM’s Super Skinny Serum when blow drying I look like I have a lion’s mane which isn’t a great look for me.
Super Skinny Serum is vegan, paraben free and gluten free. The Paul Mitchell brand also doesn’t test on animals which always makes me happy.
There is a very light scent to this product that isn’t overwhelming at all.
Here is how you apply Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum to your hair. First make sure your hair is washed and still damp. Put one pump or less of the serum into your palm and then rub your two hands together. Next, start at the bottom of your hair (because this is where your hair is the driest) and work your way up towards your scalp.
Then, I like to brush through my hair to make sure the serum has been distributed evenly and fully through my hair. Then blow dry and style your hair as you normally do.
This product is highly concentrated. I have hair down to my mid back and only need one full pump.
The one thing you need to know about the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum before purchasing is that this product is highly concentrated. You don’t want to apply too much to your hair.
This issue isn’t too big of a deal because after using it once or twice you will figure out how much the perfect amount is for your hair.
Overall I would recommend the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum because it makes my hair feel extra soft and have a beautiful shiny appearance. It also cuts down on blow dry time which makes me really happy too.
