Today I’m doing a review on the Jasonwell Aqua Water Doodle Mat. Find out what I have liked about this product and see if it will work for you as well.
First I will go over all the items that are included with this doodle mat and then I will explain how it works.
There is the Doodle Mat it self which is thirty-one by thirty-one inches. There are three doodle magic pens, four stencils and one drawing booklet.
Around the edge of the Doodle Mat there is each letter of the alphabet next to a corresponding animal that starts with that letter. My daughter is 2 years old and we are starting to practice all the letters and this is a fun way to do it with her.
This doodle mat is super cool because of how it works. I was completely blown away the first time we used it!
First you fill up the doodle magic pens with water. To remove the caps on the pens you have to go counter clock wise to remove so its harder for your child to take them off.
Next you take the filled pens and start to draw and doodle on the white center portion of the doodle mat. Fun colors will pop through in your drawing and then will dry out and disappear after a couple of minutes. You free draw pictures or use the stencils that are included.
There is no mess at all! There is no ink, no paint, everything is non-toxic and the backing on the doodle mat is water proof.
I really didn’t understand how this mat worked when I ordered it but then once I started playing with it I was really impressed and a little in shock.
The one thing you need to know about the Jasonwell Aqua Water Doodle Mat before purchasing is the mat is recommended to be stored rolled up. This so it doesn’t get damaged from folding creases because of the unique center material. You also want to make sure the mat has dried out before rolling up.
This issue isn’t too big of a deal because it really quick to roll up and I have even shown my daughter how to do it as well and ours has stayed in a pretty good condition after having it for over a year and playing with it almost every day.
Overall I would recommend the Jasonwell Aqua Water Doodle Mat because our daughter loves playing with the doodle mat and we have both drawn thousands of drawings on it already.
