Today I’m doing a review on the Maybesta Professional Wireless Lavalier Lapel Microphone for iPhone and iPad. Find out what I have liked about this product and see if it will work for you as well.
First I will go over the pieces to this wireless lavalier. There is the receiver which is the piece that gets directly plugged into the lightning connection on your iphone or ipad. The second piece is the microphone which has a nice clip to clip into your clothing or where ever is best for you.
There is no wire that links the two pieces together which is really nice because when I’m recording a review video like this one there is no cord that gets in my way.
When using the Maybesta Wireless Lavalier for iPhone and iPad I have really enjoyed how easy it was to pair with my iPhone. All I had to do was plug the receiver piece into my iphone and then click the lavalier microphone button to turn it on and the two paired together instantly.
The battery has been awesome and has a long capacity. I have used this lavalier for over 5 hours so far on a single charge over the course of two months.
The microphone clearness is also pretty good and does not echo while i”m recording.
Also, something to be aware of is that the lavalier will not automatically power on once plugged into your iphone or ipad. You need to manually turn on the lavalier by pressing the power button on the microphone piece which is located on the back side. This is really the only issue I have had with this lavalier because I forgot to turn it on and then recording a video which resulted in my video having no audio.
This isn’t a very big deal because now I’m aware of this and make sure to turn it on every time. There is also a small blue light on the microphone on the opposite side to the clip to show that the microphone is on and ready to use.
Overall I would recommend the Maybesta Wireless Lavalier for iPhone and iPad because I have been really happy with how it is performing and will continue using it for all my videos.
