When using the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo I have really enjoyed the scent most of all. This shampoo scent instantly takes me to the Hawaiian islands. It isn’t over powering at all and I look forward to it each time I shampoo my hair.
This shampoo is safe for all hair types which is awesome since I have colored hair which is bright red right now and I don’t see any extra fading after using.
In addition to being color safe the Awapuhi shampoo is also vegan, paraben free and gluten free.
Paul Mitchell’s Awapuhi Shampoo is used just like any other shampoo and has no special directions to get all the benefits of using. First get your hair wet and then massage the shampoo into your hair until it lathers up and then rinse out fully.
I also enjoy how much this shampoo foams up when washing my hair. I feel like it gets my hair extra clean without drying out my hair at all. This shampoo doesn’t leave any residue behind when I’m blow drying my hair afterwards which I appreciate. I have noticed that my hair has extra volume after styling because it doesn’t have that residue left behind and is so clean.
Overall I would recommend the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo because it my favorite Paul Mitchell shampoo out of their entire line and is my favorite shampoo of all time. I just can’t get enough of it and truly look forward to washing my hair.
